Trade Sight is dedicated to providing quality independent market education and analysis, along with stocks, options, futures and now crypto with Bitcoin trading strategies for those who want to become market savvy and improve their financial well-being over time.
Founded in 2002, the site offers information and education about the U.S. stock and futures markets, individual securities, and the crypto markets. The site and services are mainly for active traders and short-term investors. In general, our trading comes from 90% technical analysis and 10% fundamental analysis, market internals, and market directional analysis in the stock market and 100% technical analysis in the forex and futures markets.
Trade Sight’s roots go back to 1998 as an e-mail only newsletter written by Founder Chris Mercer. It was mailed out daily to his brokerage clients and included certain stocks with long and short ideas and triggers. By the year 2000, the newsletter was sent to over 3000 people daily.
The system and scans that were used to write that newsletter continue to be an integral component of the Trade Sight picks to this day.
In 2002, Trade Sight became a subscription-based website. The newsletter was enhanced to include market overviews, trade reviews, educational analysis, and more detailed picks. All work at the time was done by Trade Sight’s founder, Chris Mercer.
While no educational packages were offered, Chris contributed daily in the Firetrader Trading Room to help people learn the markets.
A Futures service was added in 2004 for those that wanted to trade some of the key futures contracts.
In 2005, Rich Derrick came on-board as an analyst, bringing his more active daytrading approach to the service via a new Trading Lab. Rich’s background at the New York Institute of Finance proved invaluable as a resource to Trade Sight subscribers. In addition, in July of 2005, the Trade Sight Forex service was added to provide insight and calls to that emerging market.
Mark Likos left his Firetraders chat room and came over to Trade Sight to work full-time. He brought his expertise, in addition to a refined version of his daily Likos Futures and Forex Levels.
In 2015, Trade Sight launched their highly successful mentoring programs in Stocks, Futures, and Forex. These "hands on" mentoring programs turned out to be extremely valuable to traders around the world who wanted to learn how to trade the global markets, including US Stocks, Futures, and Options, plus the Forex markets.
In 2017, Trade Sight began to offer a "Money-Back Guarantee" on the various mentoring programs once we recognized that traders that followed the program were having great success. We continue this guarantee to this day.
Trade Sight is now an international name in the market education world with customers in over 15 countries. We revised our website on January 1, 2021, to train our customers on all asset classes under one subscription and training cost.
We have seen over the years that the most successful traders are the ones with the most knowledge of all markets, and we continue to want to work with traders that want to succeed at that level. And we added Crypto futures trading in the form of Bitcoin.

Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Hypothetical Performance Disclosure Example: Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets Last updated June 13, 2019 in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
